Upcoming Offerings

Wishing Well Center is founded on the belief that death, loss, and grief are all part of Living, and that humans thrive best when they have a community that can hold and support them as they move through these rites of passage.

To that end, we offer a range of events, including classes, groups, and workshops designed to bring people together around one of life's most inevitable - and least talked about - topics: death, loss, and grief.

Live Like You're Dying :
Heart & Soul-Centered End-of-Life (EOL) Planning Group Course
Live Like You're Dying is a 7-session, in-person experience for those willing to hold their mortality close as they explore, practice, and learn how to be more present with their inevitable death.

Making heart and soul-centered decisions to prepare for your death requires deep inquiry around five core life domains (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Practical).

The 7, 90-minute sessions take place in small groups (no more than 12 per group) to foster intimate connections with like-hearted community.

Nights of Grief & Poetry

Poetry is the language of the soul, and was never meant to be trapped on a page in black-and-white. Our Nights of Grief & Poetry allow guests to experience poetry as it's meant to be - alive, fluid, and in relationship with the sacred mystery of the present moment.

Carl Bello is a soul worker & grief tender, veterinarian, and musician. Carrie De Martini is a death worker, community builder, grief tender, and poetry convert. Carl's guitar and Carrie's spoken poetry (not her own) pay homage to what our hearts crave and our souls know to be true.

Nights of Grief & Poetry take place at Wishing Well Center (201 East Moody Ave), every third Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Cost: Nobody is turned away; $5 to $25 donations welcome.

sGrief Ritual Retreat:
Sorrow's Healing Ground

During these three night, four day retreats, we gather at in the beautiful Cumberland Hills, at Well Being Retreat Center, forming what Michael Meade calls an “instant village,” creating a robust container where we can metabolize and transmute our losses in ways largely inaccessible in modern culture.

This retreat is for anyone aching with the impact of personal and collective losses and who hungers for a safe, contained, and sustainable outlet for processing their grief.
